Dumb Question Time re: Dish & Direct Equipment

It doesn't look like we will be getting locals anytime soon here in Columbus, so if I were to switch from Dish to Direct TV, could Direct TV use the same satellite mount on my roof or would they have to re-drill? If I used the wrong lingo...sorry.

They may be able to use the same mount, depends on what dish you have now.

no we cant, ours is 2" not the 1 5/8 mounts dish uses.
