DVR625 Remote DVR TV2 Control Problem

I recently had Dishnetwork installed with the DVR625 installed with TV1 & TV2. The distance between TV1 and TV2 is only about 20 feet at the most (2 upstairs bedrooms.) When I use TV2 and the DVR fast forward button I can only get it to stop and play by hitting the play button less than half the time. The stop button is a little better, but still does not work 100% of the time. It is very frustrating zooming through the whole show. I notice that when I hit play while the show is FF the SAT button sometimes will light up for a longer period of time...like it is trying to continue to send the signal and get confirmation, maybe from the receiver, even after I released the play button. Other times it will just flash on for half a second, and if I was watching correctly those quicker flashes are when the remote works. All other functions on the remote seem to work fine.

I did extend the UHF antenna from the receiver to away from the TV and entertainment center with a piece of cable, but that did not make a difference. Also moving the remote around to different angles and area the room do not seem to make a difference. Again, I only notice the issues when using the DVR function.

it could as simple as the remote. if you are only having problem with DVR Buttons.

Hmm good idea...why didn't I think of that...lol..Is there a way to swap TV1 Remote to TV2 and vice versa?

no. you can swap tv2. to tv1. but u can't do tv1. to tv2. call dish and kiss their a$$. they might ship you new one for free.
