ESPN actively planning to offer linear feed directly to consumers, has deals with two leagues

Had ESPN fix their 30p FPs getting on FUBO and Disney + with bundle where they should be at 60p FPs?

I find it distracting when it's on 30p instead of 60p reminds me of European video conversion back in the old day of 25i FPs to 30i FPs resulting frame rates movment judders.

I am on Xfinty streaming service in metro Albuquerque for your information.

I noted Fox sports 1 and 2 or TNT on MAX+ shows normal 60P FPs

Hoping it can be resolved be for the fall season, otherwise I will cancel the Disney + bundle packages.:hatsoff

I have the Disney+, Hulu, ESPN+ bundle right now, Disney and Hulu ad free. I think I'm going to like this especially if ESPN goes 1080P/HDR. I guess we will see about that.
You have the same set up I do, where do you expect the price to be (seeing you have the bundle and it sounds like you'll be automatically in the plan)

Not true...At least give supporting info to back up your statements.

It is true. If you have a sub to the Max app you can find it under Home. Drop down to Brands and you will see it. It does not have the entire TCM library but there is a lot there.

So what they do is make junk tv they can re-run 1000x to make $ from the commercials. But how much does it cost to run old movies?

At least there's still American Movie Classics.

Since TCM is owned by Warner, not much if any, since that channel only runs movies that the company owns.

The channel exists to receive per sub fees and basically be a rerun channel, like the vast majority of cable channels.

AMC quit showing the real older stuff a long time ago.

I don't think there any 50 year old movies that are not reruns...TCM was a great channel for classic movie fans

Here ya go

Yea that article is about two years old. I believe you will find that several people have come to the rescue of TCM.

Under Corporate restructuring (2019–present) you can find more current information.

The fact that it is a subset of TCM indicates that it is not the true TCM - at least to me and my money.

The key here is that Warner owns the rights to a vast amount of movies. Personally I love old movies especially those with no commercials. Over the Memorial Day weekend I recorded a lot of war movies from TCM & FMC. The majority were from TCM. Those from FMC were loaded with commercials. Yes I had a DVR and was able to skip through commercials but it diminished the enjoyment of watching the movies.

If I remember correctly you don't enjoy commercials either.

Yet it is another cable channel, that barely anyone watches ( it did not even rate on the ratings, link below), yet over 60 Million people are forced to pay for it, via per sub fees as part of the monthly bill.
