No they are prohibbeted by law from doing so. Your best bet is to call your Fisher station that was removed and give them an earfull.

All American direct stations- not HD but a good backup for rural areeas with no OTA.

Your vehicle that you "use for camping" can qualify you for a RV waiver to get distant network signals.

Hopefully they will go HD at some point.
