Hello,

I recently changed from DirecTV to Dish Network because the DirecTv HD dish was too large for my location.

With DirecTv, I recorded Fraiser regularly on a channel called LIFE (although I don't see that channel listed on the DirecTv web site).

Searching Dish Network, I don't find Fraiser. Yipes! I hope perhaps that my box hasn't yet got the full schedule, and it is out there?

Anyone know if Fraiser is available on Dish?

I'd like to see Cheers available, also.

While I'm wishing, I wish the networks would stop with this reality garbage and "American Hero" crap and produce a new Star Trek series.

I can't blame them for producing what is popular, but it's rather pathetic.

Also, if you want Cheers you will need to get the Superstations from Dish. Cheers is on WPIX channel 234 a couple of times a day. The Superstations are CW channels from NY, Boston, Denver, and LA. I think the package cost 5.99 a month.

Welcome to Satguys!!!! :wave

It might help if you learned how to spell the programs you wish to search for and record.

F-R-A-S-I-E-R

Searching for the correct spelling returned 73 results, most on Lifetime (LIFE), channel 108. I'm curious how you could not know that the channel is called Lifetime since the word "Lifetime" appears in the lower right corner during every second of every program that the channel airs.

Hey can it! Not all of us have good spelling abilities. Hell I know that I don't. While we all here maybe technically power users, there are people who are not, who do come here for help. Be nice as this is the users first time here and remember that we are here to help! Even if it is a dumb question, because no question is a dumb question!

I wasn't being a spelling nazi. His ENTIRE problem was the fact that he was spelling the name of the program wrong. Correct the spelling, the problem goes away. The ONLY way to solve his problem is to correct his spelling. If no one corrected his spelling, then the problem would never be solved. So, I don't want to hear any crap about correcting his spelling. And, no, I won't "can it" because I was helping him solve the problem the only way it could be solved.

I am a bad speller, but I agree, if you dont spell the name correctly in the search your not going to find it. :D

Yes, but from now on, if someone spells a program incorrectly and can't record their favorite program, no one will be allowed to correct them and the person will simply have to do without their favorite program...according to GoalieBob. :haha

The "Diane years" (1-5) were the best, and those are specifically the ones I own (as seen here :D), while the remaining 6 years varied from good to "ok" in my opinion. Some day I'll break down and buy the remaining ones. :)

For some reason (money?) the last three seasons still have not been released on dvd.

Looks like they haven't released the last two years of Frasier either.

Hehe. Well, if they havent released the last three, I suppose it's logical that they haven't released the last two either (seeing as how the last two are part of the last three). :D
