Waiting for Verizon to send an OTA update is like Chinese Water Torture, so it is appropriate..


If I wasn't rooted, I would have gone nuts waiting for my Froyo fix. I didn't get it until the 18th. The very end of the update period.

well its not the official OTA and the server they are relasing it on is overloaded so I am guessing its been released.

Well, that is just too funny.

I don't think the dates for OTA updates never mean much, of course. You might be the first CS customer to get the Verizon Froyo update.

And by the way, its funny that they are actually calling it Froyo, it wasn't "the Eclair 2.1 update is ready for install."
