I'm having trouble picking up 11720V/27.690. Don't know if it is just me, or what, but I can receive 11799V/26.660 with no problem. Any idea?

Until yesterday night, I was getting 11800V pretty good. (Level 70, Quality 50). Now it is no signal. At this moment 11720V still has the same L70, Q50. I'm located in Mexico City, and have a 33 in. dish, with universal LNB. Fortecstar Lifetime receiver
I have noticed in the last few days my 11720's quality has dropped. It was even with 11799, 75 Q or so now it only peaks at about 60. I thought it was weather related on my end but Im thinking it may be Equity backing off on power or dish firing up on 121 again causing cross polar. Everything else on G10 is status quo.
Same here with 11720, I've noticed lower signal levels during the last week or so. Not enough to cause breakup, but substantially lower than they have been. 11800 is the same as its been, no problems there...
I think it's that Dish bird at 121 again....
Noitced the same thing myself, a drop of about 15% on 11720 (and on my system it also was about the same strength as 11799). Of course, it was just after we had some strong winds come through the area last week, so I was thinking about a re-point, but may delay that a bit and see whether it goes back up to previous levels.
I thought my G-10 dish may have moved but my WSTV on my dual LNB setup is hot as hell. That puppy was touchy so if the dish moved that would have changed. Lay odds on crosspolar from 121, damn Echostar!
Same here, no change in the WSTV LNB strength (though I don't recall mine as being that touchy). I do recall that the last time I did a re-point, 11720 had been 15% lower than 11799, and was able, with an extremely small adjustment, to boost it to equal to 11799, and saw little, if any, improvement in any other transponder. Therefore, after the winds we had, I thought may be it had moved. However, with you and others noticing a similar drop, I will wait until it is a bit warmer (and hopefully the signal will improve on its own) before I climb the ladder to make a probably futile attempt to make any gain! Thought the problems with Echostar interference were in the past, as I remember last time was a real pain.
My setup was built solid enough that wind does not affect it. When I peaked it last summer it was reading about the same on the quality (60) on 11720 as it is now. Then all by itself it shot up to 75 like 11799. My WSTV is 75 on the offset LNBF that is the same. I have 16 to 17" on snow on the ground here with drifts up to 2 feet. So messing with the dish now is not fun.
Right now though unless it becomes a problem, my Pansat starts breakup at about 13 Quality, nothing is changing till late spring or summer. In this weather it's emergency service only![]()
We had a "heat wave" today (about 5C or 40F) prior to a freezing rain/snow storm coming tonight/tomorrow, so against my above statements of "leaving it alone for a while", out I went to check the dish. I am happy to report I didn't make things worse (done that before), but could not boost 11720 at all, except for a minor reduction in fluctuation (and did get the added bonus of some minor increases on other transponders) with just a sliver of adjustment horizontally. So the dish is not the problem.
