FWIW: I am giving the Firestick another go. I think I figured out the responsiveness issues with my 2nd Generation stick in the workout room (I got a HDMI extension cable and put it 6 feet from the largely metal TV stand), and I got a 4K stick for my living room. So far, everything is working great.
