"Grimm," starring St. Louisan David Giuntoli, will end its run after the upcoming season on NBC.
That season doesn't begin until Jan. 6. The final episodes will give "Grimm" a total of 120.
"We at Hazy Mills Productions have been proud of this show and everyone involved with it since Day 1," executive producer Sean Hayes said. "A big thank you goes out to the extremely loyal fans of our little-show-that-could for inspiring all of us these last 5-plus years."
Giuntoli (St. Louis University High School, Class of 1998) stars as Nick Burkhardt, a Portland, Ore., police detective who learned he was descended from decades of monster-hunters called Grimms.
