I need some help, I've been a long time Dishnetwork subscriber and am thinking about switching to Direct for their HD offerings.

I've been reading through the threads about the equipment and sd quality but I would like to hear from anyone who has actual experience in Hawaii.

Thanks for the help,

Dune

I have sd directv but am interested in upgrading to HD but im told that i will need two 1.2 meter dishes. Was hoping that here in Hawaii we will be able to use the one 18" dish for HD. Maybe the new launch of the d11 satellite will make that possible. Anyone know anything?

Dish size for HD in Hawaii

Anyone know anything about getting smaller dishes for HD service in Hawaii on directv. Currently takes 2 1.2 meter dishes...

Directv in Hawaii

Fairly certain Alaska and Hawaii Directv reception for SD is one 1.2 meter dish and HD reception requires 2 , 1.2 meter dishes (DTVAH12DISH) one with DTVAHKAKUKIT (99/101/103) LNB and one with DTVAH1019KIT (110 and 119) LNB.
