Free preview of HBO and Cinemax coming up 7/15-7/18.

Time to fill those DVRs.

One note that since the receivers now prompt you to purchase the package you cannot pre-schedule recordings for channels that aren't in your package on the receiver.

You may be able to schedule them using the website or mobile app (I'm not sure), but I read several reports that you cannot schedule them on the receiver in advance, as it will prompt you to purchase HBO.

Yes, I tried. No, I can't set up recording in advance because it prompts me to by MAX or HBO. So, original poster is correct.
If you know something that we don't, please share with us.
