: HI EVERYONE, JUST JOINED AND I HAVE A QUESTION. I JUST INSTALLED THE DISH VIP211 AND THE HDMI CABLE THAT CAME WITH IT. SO FAR GREAT PICTURE, BUT HOW GOOD ARE THOSE CABLES THAT DISH PROVIDES. THERE ARE ALOT OF GOOD CABLES OUT THERE. I HAVE A SONY KDF50WE655. THANKS FOR ANY INFO

Those are probally good but I buy mine from here and never had any issues and you cant beat the price.

I would avoid the 100.00 plus cables as I do not think any of them are hdmi 1.3 and they should all be available cheap when the 1.3 come out.
I got a 100+ svhs monster cable on sale for 19.95 from radio shack when they didn;t sell any at the list price. Use it for copying to my dvd recorder.

Well Monoprice sells good stuff and as far as I know they meet all industry standards. You just don't pay for advertising and over priced cables with a name on them.
