If anybody out there that have two Hopper 3s and J4s or WJ4s linked to them, can you check your TV Viewing Options/TV Activity screen and see if your Joeys are listed? I do not see my J4s and WJ4s listed in my two Hopper 3s for some reason. Thanks

Master reset will delete your recordings and timers

Well I performed a Master reset in my spare Hopper 3 with no Plus attached. Now in the Diagnostics/Available Joey Software menu there are no Joey 4s "P" software numbers. Previously it showed P510 and P610. Now it just shows the regular Joeys. So HipKat no luck getting the P512/P612 update by doing a Master reset. My WJ4 linked to this H3 still says P610. Maybe this H3 will need some time to settle in from the reset and P512/P612 will show up. I wish DISH Support would answer my questions in post #78!!

HipKat in the Technician Settings menu if I select the Download ATV Files, will it download the Joey 4 software? I do not plan on attaching the Plus to this spare Hopper 3.

HipKat I clicked on the Download ATV Files and got a popup. What do I need to do next? Should I connect my Hopper Plus? This is my backup H3. No problem if I screw things up.

Sorry just got home had to stock up on supplies/food in town. Sorry you are having so much difficulties. I never seen that. I really suggest getting a tech out.

I may have to get a tech. I don't mind trying and fortunate to have a spare H3 to try things. So like to see if I can do things first. I bet the pop up means a special Google hit needs to come my way.

Yes. I have one WJ4 linked to it now. This H3 did show the P510/P610 software available untill I did a Master reset today. Does not show up any more. The WJ4 linked to this Hopper still shows P610 software.

I can't agree more! Get that protection plan and call loyalty first AM and insist on a in house tech!

By the way I was able to cancel the protection plan in a week with no penalties for its early removal

Just had the Hopper 3, Dish Plus and a wired Joey 4 installed yesterday. So far, everything working fine here in Silicon Valley. Big storm headed our way over the weekend - so I guess that will be "the acid test", as the old expression goes.
