The situation that brings about a crash involves having PIP in use, one of the sub-screens has been paused, so it's not "Live TV", and switching to another PIP option (including full screen, exiting PIP).
If the paused sub-screen is the one with the red box and thus the audio, exiting multiview (4-sub-screen PIP) causes a reboot.
If one of the sub-screens on side-by-side (I suspect multiview would have the same problem) is an NHL Center Ice episode that has been paused (I need to do this to sync the audio from a computer running the player from SiriusXM for the right team's announcers instead of the wrong team's announcers on the Center Ice TV cast) and I fail to switch away from the Center Ice channel before the end of the cast is replaced by the DISH sports with jazz music, the receiver reboots.
Another quirk with Center Ice, in PIP, is that if the Center Ice channel has been on a sub-screen before the channel switches through a black screen away from the DISH sports with jazz music, pause works to sync its video with the computer audio, but any attempt to skip forward or back to adjust the sync just goes back to the beginning of the cast. That at least doesn't reboot, and it can be fixed by switching channels in that sub-screen away from the game, then back to the game, then pausing and waiting to resume for when the computer audio catches up with the same time.
Does anybody else notice these problems?

I got similar problems and posted them in your other thread.

I think it would be better if you could merge the two threads
