I have read up on a few threads here regarding the Duo Node running 2 hoppers and 3 joeys. I would also like to connect my VIP211z to my TV in the garage, I called support and those extremely helpful people first said I could split the client side of the Duo Node, then I call back to that lovely foreign location for which Dish only knows to get the advice of I need to split the Host side of the Duo Node to the 211z. neither worked, I can see SAT 119 but thats it.
So my question is are the three coax's coming out of the Sat itself (LNB's) are they each hitting a satellite or are they split by frequency and all three get all three Satellites being used.
Also the Dish I have has three LNB's (and 3 coaxes coming out of the Dish) is there another connection (4) that I can tap off of and run it directly to the 211z?
If the channels are being identified by Freq then I should be able to split one of the inputs from the Dish? Or are each lines coming out of the Dish (LNB) for each satellite then compiled at the Duo Node then out to broadcast?
I used to be an installer years ago some im not completely ignorant, close but not completely. I do not have the DPP33 or 44. Just the Duo Node with three inputs and 2 host port and 2 client ports.
