How long did it take for you to get your HD receiver up and running once ordered?

How long did it take for you to receive your receiver AND have a technician come out (if one did) after you placed your order?

I ordered on a Sunday, over the telephone, and was shocked when the lady told me the 1st available appt was Thursday.... I figured a Thursday 2-3 weeks from then, but no, four days later.

My first install (811 with dish & LNB upgrade/swap/switch) was done in less than a week by the E* installer (private contractor). I self-installed my 622 and moved the 811.

When I decided to switch to a 622 from the 811 I went to Fry's Electronics, bought it, came home hooked it up, 2 dish's already on the roof and called Dish HD Tech dept. to activate. The whole process took about an hour. :up
