How To Stop PTAT While It Is Recording?

How do I stop/disable PTAT while it is in the recording mode?

You cannot stop/disable PTAT while it is in the recording mode.
If you want to turn off or modify PTAT you have to do it before PT starts or after it ends.

Well that ain't a good thing.

It would be nice if with one button stroke you could shut it down.
