Been following your posts in your other thread. Your not stupid - just trying to learn something new. All of us started with zero knowledge on the subject at one point. The Amiko Mini HD RE will receive DVB and DVB-S2 FTA (free to air) channels via a ku (small dish) or c band (large dish). It is great receiver for someone starting out and it is sold by a member of Satellite Guys who offers great support and help.

P.S. It does not do 4K but most channels are still DVB/DVB-S2

Thanks. I was a cable guy when it was all analog. When it was hard to sweep 24 deep. Digital is awesome but new.

I don't have any 4K receivers myself so not much help from me there. Perhaps someone who does can comment on receivers that have worked for them?

Alibaba refunded me $86 then went right bacl in and stole the exact same amount. Looked at the bank statement and still denied.

Sorry to hear you had a bad experience. I've never done business with Alibaba or AliExpress although I have considered it. I have purchased from Chinese sellers on eBay. Most of the time I had no problems but then sometimes...
P.S. I believe you must have a certain number of posts here before you can upload pics and post links (Keeps the spammers away ).
