I watched the first two episodes and thought it was excellent. I really like the show and can't wait until the Law gets close to them. The robbery with the hummer was a great show. I think the blonde is stealing the show. Every move she makes in the show is so sexy.

I only saw the second episode after seeing glowing reviews for the pilot. That stupid motorcycle chase scene was a "jump the shark" moment for me. Don't know if I really want to go back. Plus, violent crime shows are best left to the premium channels, IMO.

i have not seen the show, just some promos, but if your are talking about virginia madsen, i agree she is hot!! have you seen the movie "sideways"? great movie, and she is great in it!!

Can I answer "or what"? :D

The jury is still out for me. I was able to watch the second episode in 20 minutes as I skipped passed the predictable parts. I do have it set to record again next week so I am giving it a fair chance.

For the record I must have been the only person that watched every episode of Hiest so I do like this kind of show.

See ya

I must have been pre-occupied when I watched the first episode. I got through 15 or 20 minutes, and turned it off. Maybe I made a mistake, BUT there are SO MANY shows I am watching right now, its hard to even come close to keeping up.

Now my wife is yelling at me for being addicted to tv. Its a good thing I don't have a slingbox. :D

Just because a show focuses on a particular way of life, in this case, burglars (who are admittedly bad people), doesn't mean that the show is condoning what the main characters do in life. I take the show as an examination of the character's way of life, not a celebration of that life. Overall "Smith" is well written, with good production values and has a very talented cast. And not to mention, Virginia Madsen!

It's my my SA8300 HD-DVR's "record the entire season" list.

Did I mention Virginia Madsen was in "Smith". :)

You like Virginia Madsen, don't you? :D :D

Your point is a good one. Ocean's 11 is one of my favorite movies; that doesn't mean I condone burglary. Same with The Soprano's. I love it - just like I love the Godfather. But I am not going to go out and join the Mafia. Well... I am Italian, so, maybe... :D :D

I never watched it. I understand what you are getting at though. I'm not sure why this particular show struck me that way.
I didnt watch the whole first episode of Smith so maybe I missed something (like survival). I saw them shoot the guard. From the previews I was actually looking forward to the technology and "flash" of Smith. The only thing I could figure was that they don't get caught as long as the show runs so they will be killing people while pulling off their illegal acts on a regular basis.

LOL Well, sorry but she isn't a selling point to me.
I will probably try Smith again to see how it is.

Nope... Vanished has been given a second chance. It will move to Fridays, according to this morning's New York Times.
