Theoretically, any BT adapter using that chipset should work in the Joey. (Similar to how some non-Dish-branded Netgear wi-fi dongles work in the Hopper.)Just in case anybody cares looks like the chipset is Broadcom bcm207002A0
Its already there.
Stay tuned the giveaway is coming up!![]()
That's nice but you missed the boat and all have been claimed.i want in on this and my zipcode is 64784
No. Still sealed and the envelope was sealed. Oh well.Hmm was there a hole in the bag/ envelope?
Mine was in an anti-static bag inside the envelope, so the hole would need to be bigger than the dongle itself, for mine to fall out.At least you got one. There was a tear on the side edge of the envelope about the size of a usb dingle and nothing in the envelope.
I had the same problem with deformation. I wonder if the Dish rep who brought them to the show had jammed them in his luggage, unprotected other than the antistatic bags?I got mine yesterday, dongle was out of bag and deformed, also indention and small tear in white envelope. I reformed it, and it works fine as long as my speaker is close enough, like in the next room. Thanks Scott.
