Looking to become an installer.

Im intrested in becoming an installer sometime this year. I am currently a Tech service rep for a sat company. I am more of a hands on technical guy. Just wondering what its like and what to ecspect for pay.

If you like working long hours and not getting paid what you should.

Become a satellite installer.

If you have aay other options, take them.

Dont go sub contractor wich is pay per job, go inhouse with a company like Dish and you'll get paid by the hour but expect long hours, working in all types of weather and temperatures, dealing with all sorts of customers and their animals both two legged and four, all types of housing from actual one room shacks up to 10million + estates.

There are pro's and cons to this type of job and your best bet as suggested is to go to the installer section of the forum and read read read and ask ask ask.
