D* has internet with ATT.This is the advantage cable companies have, they supply the broadband and have a way to bundle services to keep customers. Dish and DTV don't have anything to bundle.

True ...Not everyone is in ATT territory,
This is the advantage cable companies have, they supply the broadband and have a way to bundle services to keep customers. Dish and DTV don't have anything to bundle.

It's still not as easy as just having one line to the house.Directv can bundle. They just don’t have the coverage with their fiber service.
Dish doesn't....yet! But it's comingThis is the advantage cable companies have, they supply the broadband and have a way to bundle services to keep customers. Dish and DTV don't have anything to bundle.
I'll say the same thing I always do; Dish doesn't need to "buy" anyone, when DTV's customers come willingly. From where I sit, I see DTV becoming more and more of a memory, with no new technology. No new partnerships and hemorrhaging subscribersAnd how "great" is AT&T's 4.1 million pay TV subscriber loss just in the past year? Yes, Dish has lost about 5 million sat subscribers over the past 5 years, but at the same time they're gaining more Sling subscribers for a significant net gain. AT&T can't say that since all of their services are losing subs at this point, including streaming. There's no argument that sat TV is fading into history, but its not dead yet.
Oh yeah, that 1 - 3 Mb/s D/L speed is epic!D* has internet with ATT.
Dish has Sling ...
I prefer the 50-100 mg that they offer in most cities they are in.Oh yeah, that 1 - 3 Mb/s D/L speed is epic!
But why would I willingly switch to Dish if I have better options elsewhere.Dish doesn't....yet! But it's coming
The carriers are going to implement it differently. If it were so easy we would not need different sets of antennas for each company. This buildout will be a lot slower than 4g was. When 3GPP says it's the standard, it's the standard. That's what a standards organization does. Nothing "so called" about it...
You mean like the various antennas we already need to accommodate the various bands currently in use?The carriers are going to implement it differently. If it were so easy we would not need different sets of antennas for each company. This buildout will be a lot slower than 4g was.
