I really was hoping they would do the netflix series justice.

From the looks of this they will. Of all the series that have come out, this is the one I am most excited about.

They weren't at first. They started shooting without Karen or Foggy. Feige did not like the direction it was taking and halted production, fired the showrunner, and brought them back.

Good first episode, sad but good. Storms moving through so probably shut things down and wait until tomorrow for the 2nd episode.

I watched the first two episodes. I was wondering if it was going to turn into "N.Y. Law" (imagining a cameo by Jennifer Walters in the court room at some point) but then Matt got to "cross-examine" the two bad cops, and I was like, "Ah, there he is!"

You know it's a good show when you can have great episodes and he never even puts on the costume.

The 4th episode I had to rewatch to figure it out. I also turned on the Closed Captioning, too.

The Petty Thief in Rikers asked Matt is it could have been a Skrull that stole the five boxes of caramel corn from the bodega. I thought he said, "squirrel" the first time through.

Likewise, Vanessa mentions meeting Adam was like "finding clay at a garage sale". Huh??? CC reveals her to say "finding a Klee at a garage sale" which isn't much more help, except for all those crossword puzzles that I've done so I know Klee was a famous impressionist artist.

That dialog between Frank and "Red" might have been one of the better scenes ever in the MCU.

Again, just when you think "where's this going?" the show veers into unexpected territory.

I didn't realize it at the time, but Daniel Blake, the Mayor's new Communications Liaison has Mob ties… He's played by Michael Gandolfini, whose father was James Gandolfini, aka Tony Soprano.

Season finale on Tuesday, April 15th. Watch what happens, then drop off your Tax Return in the mail before midnight!

Season finale on Tuesday, April 15th. Watch what happens, then drop off your Tax Return in the mail before midnight!

Don't expect much of an ending. This "season" is just the fist half of the planned 16 episode season, then split up. The more I watch, the more disappointed I am. It's just not even close to the feel of the Netflix show. Pacing is terrible and story is all over the place. Plus, Daredevil hardly has any Daredevil.
