MLB Network HD?

I just read an article about the MLB Network channel launching on January 1st. It will be available in HD as well and the article did mention that DirecTV should have it at launch according to tvpredictions. I wonder if they will put this channel into the Sports Pack or if it will be available to people who have the Plus HD DVR package (or Choice Xtra). According to the channel lineups you can get the NFL Network by getting Choice and NHL Network by getting Choice Xtra. I think it would only be fair if they did the same with MLB Network.

Does anyone know anything further about MLB Network?

I believe it will be in Choice. That was the requirement by MLB that it be in a basic package.

That is great news!! I had been wondering about it. Can't wait!!
Will it broadcast in conjunction with MLBEI in anyway do you think? Guess not directly, are they going to broadcast a certain number of live games like the NFL , NBA and I believe the NHL Network? Thanks.
