Don't bother with the DCH series, it's just a quick substitute until the DCX boxes come out this summer. Can't wait for those

Are there any links to these new DCX boxes? They sound interesting.Don't bother with the DCH series, it's just a quick substitute until the DCX boxes come out this summer. Can't wait for those

As for the DCH, they are worth the trip to the office to swap out for any old DCT's in the house, if only for the improved appearance in the cabinet. I swapped out for a DCH last summer, and have been relatively happy with it. It has 40 more gigs than my DCT. So, that alone was worth it.
Months behind, I've had that from Charter cable from back mid last year.
Not for Comcast. Definitely not.
.... Considering Comcast just started putting out the DCH boxes a few months ago, I wouldn't bet on them bucking up prematurely for the newer boxes...
Once again... quoting directly from my previous post in this thread:
Comcast has been handing out DCH boxes since the FCC separable security mandate mid last-year. Just like Charter and everybody else out there that uses Moto boxes.
Philly still doesn't have any and the burbs got them in January.
Unless Philly has a large stock of previously installed DCT models they should not be handing them out as only already deployed DCTs are the ones allowed to be used as of last July per the separable security mandate by the FCC. Ones that are turned in can be re-deployed. If that's the case then there is a lot of churn going on in that market that is delaying their need to stock the DCH's.
