As of now this is only available for streaming customers in select markets. Existing streaming customers can switch to it for $69.99, but they are not eligible for the $20 off for 3 months discount. More genre-specific packages will launch during the first half of the year.

At launch, MySports includes 40 sports and broadcast channels and is initially available in 24 metro areas, including New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Philadelphia, San Francisco Bay Area, and others. Click here for more information and the list of initial launch markets. The availability of MySports will expand into additional markets as DIRECTV adds more local stations to the package.

The streamlined MySports package includes national and local channels in select markets, as well as live news channels.

National sports channels immediately available through MySports include ACC Network, Big Ten Network, DIRECTV 4K Live, DIRECTV 4K Live 2, ESPN, ESPN2, ESPNews, ESPNU, Fox Sports 1, Fox Sports 2, Golf Channel, MLB Network, NBA TV, NFL Network, NHL Network, SEC Network, TBS, TNT, TruTV and USA Network. Local channels will initially include any stations owned and operated by ABC, FOX, and NBC, with additional stations coming online soon.

Additional networks, local stations and ESPN+, will be included in MySports at no extra cost in the near future.

Consumers who sign up online for the contract-free package before Feb. 28, 2025, can receive MySports for $49.99 monthly for the first three months, a $20 monthly savings. After the free trial, it auto-renews monthly, and consumers can cancel anytime.

Add a weather channel and you've got a pretty comprehensive lineup for live TV. 👍

The O&O requirement is somewhat brutal.

CBS is going to continue to be a thorn in everyone's side.

It also comes with access to all of the channels on MyFree DIRECTV, including FOX Weather

In addition, as with all DIRECTV packages, MySports customers will also have access to the MyFree DIRECTV ad-supported sports channels, which includes ACC Digital Network, Big 12, Fight Network, Fuel TV, Origin Sports, Pickleball TV, Players TV, Sports Grid, Stadium Stream, Surfer TV, Swerve Combat, T2, The Jim Rome Show, TNA, Torque by History, Waypoint TV and Women’s Sports Network.

For those who don't pay attention to the FAST thread, they will soon be joined by some more streaming sports channels like beIN Sports Xtra, Speedvision and ESPN8: The Ocho

My ABC is owned by Sinclair. My FOX is owned by Nexstar. My NBC is owned by Tegna. My CBS is owned by Gray Media. I will probably never see any of those included in this package.

The NFL Network, MLB Network, NHL Network and the NBCU channels weren't part of Venu's announced lineup. NBA TV would have probably been included since Turner handles that.

I'm most likely going to sign up for this and toss my streaming package with Spectrum. This is a much better deal to cover all the sports networks I actually watch. Locals aren't included in my market yet, but I can get all of that OTA so it's still a good deal for me.

This week's initial expansion stops in the mid-100s Nielsen rankings, but they said the rest of the markets should be available for in time for the Super Bowl (excluding the FOX stations affected by the Mission/White Knight dispute, or where they don't offer locals)
In addition to including all Fox-owned and operated stations at launch, early and broad support from all of America’s largest broadcast station groups – including Cox Media Group, Gray TV, Nexstar, Scripps, Sinclair and others – has now positioned DIRECTV to make MySports available nationally to all potential sports fans in time for the Big Game on FOX on February 9, the Daytona 500 on FOX on February 16, and the NBA All-Star Weekend on TNT and ESPN on February 14-16.

MySports initially rolled out to 24 Nielsen Media markets, including 16 of the top 20, starting Jan. 14. But today’s additions expand that reach by an additional 100 cities, and MySports is now available to sports fans in every top 50 market, with still more stations in more cities being added every day.

The agreement with ABC and NBC also includes a framework for their 3rd party affiliates to eventually come on board
The Walt Disney Co. (ABC) and NBCUniversal (NBC) were already included in MySports with all their national sports channels and owned and operated local broadcast stations, and DIRECTV will continue to add additional ABC and NBC local station affiliates as their respective owners choose to be available through MySports, too.

Later this year they'll also have an add-on so MySports customers can get their RSNs
Additionally, DIRECTV also plans to offer local sports fans the option to add its unparalleled array of regional sports networks and team networks, including the recently announced Rangers Sports Network, as an add-on to MySports later this year.
