New HD channels?

In my area I received notice of NGHD,FoodHD HGTVHD NFLHD and A&EHD, coming on or about 9/25/07.

It is safe to ay that EVERY market will be getting TBS HD before the playoffs start, since Comcast already announced an HD palyoffs.

Wouldn't hold my breath for TBS HD for Seattle! Spoke with CS on Thurs. and nothing is coming here! Althought when they finally gave us TNT HD, they didn't tell us we had it until about a month later. Finally got the red dot on the box telling us. Only reason I noticed it was using the guide and saw it!

I am in Philly, and I finally got a nice little red dot with a great message.

5 new HD channels for tomorrow. NG, A&E, HGTV, Food Network, and NFL HD.

I am so happy I have been waiting a long time for new channels. I know a lot of you have had A&E and HGTV for over 6 months.

I am just happy we finally got some new ones in Philly.

We now have:

and the 5 new ones so that's 14 plus Premiums. Not too shabby for now.

TBS-HD, yes.

CNN-HD, nope, and if it does come this month it will probably be October 23rd. Again, that's a big "IF" As of right now my sources in Comcast cannot tell me when they are going to launch CNNHD for us, once they finalize plans I should get more information.

Also, NGCHD and NFLHD come on 10/10, channels 210 and 218

Also on 10/10 Leased Access, CourtTV, and AMC move to digital only, presumably to make more room for 4 or so HD channels in December and January.

FOX Biz coming on 10/15 channel 106, Bloomberg moves to 105.

Thus far all the new HD channels (ie MPEG4) are a very very very big "NOOOOOOOOOOO" on the HD-Lite question.
