New HD DVD players announced!

So you really think Toshiba (or any other CE company) will actually add those formats to the HD DVD players?

Your display also shows 1080p. From what I've read here and on avsforum, that's not possible with the HD-A1.

Really, who the hell knows? It's DVD-A/SACD all over again with this BluRay/HD-DVD deal. That's what makes it frustrating. Everyone has to have their OWN format (well, at least Sony does). Makes it tough on "mortals" like us.
