The National Football League limits teams to a maximum of five prime-time games per season while also ensuring that each of its 32 teams receives at least one featured exposure apiece.

This means the Jets will be on in Prime Time 5 times and probably a few more times at the 4:30 game .

Correct. The official Nielsen numbers are all that matter. The rest, on this or any other event/sport/show is just puffery and hype. Among the greatest offender is Liberty Media's Formula One racing, which claims something called "50M people impacted" in the USA. It gets a rating of about 0.5 or so for most of its odd hours events, and maybe a 1.0 for the few ones on this side of the world. Its all hype.

Is this the first time they've done a Black Friday game?

As the prohibition from broadcasting a game within 75 miles of a high school or college game being played (doesn't even have to be broadcasted) on a Friday or Saturday is in effect until the 2nd week of December, they might not be able to broadcast that game in some areas as some colleges and high schools play on that date (in Georgia the high school playoffs would be going on).

I believe it's the first time a team has played two Europe games in the same season.

Yes. The league wanted it last season, but they didn't want to go against the World Cup.

Not sure why they're doing it, as broadcasting the game in Georgia would be banned due to the Sports Broadcasting Act as high school playoffs are going on here, and they won't be able to broadcast within 75 miles of any of the games.

Only the NFL could make a TV show out of non-events like the "combine", the draft, and, most strangely, announcing its schedule (which is just who plays when, who plays who was determined by a formula the day after the season) and then add to it with early announcements of "premium" games.

Anyway, it looks like Jacksonville's stadium is getting "renovated" which will take two years. The 25 and 26 seasons.

The next biggest football stadium in Jacksonville is the soccer field at non-football playing North Florida, which holds 12K. Orlando is more than 2 hours away, and both of its stadiums have, well, issues. Gainesville is closer, but also a pretty rural part of the state. There also is the grass between the pit road and the tri-oval at Daytona. Don't laugh, back when they first started, the Panthers considered playing in a similar arrangement at the Charlotte speedway. (Ended up playing at Clemson for the year).

Probably do the same thing again. I wish they moved the series to home/home permanently like this did with the Iron Bowl.

This is actually the final year of the current deal to play in Jacksonville (with the schools having an option to play it until 2025) and Georgia's coach has advocated moving it to home/home.

Better yet, move it to the Benz in Atlanta and let Florida know what if feels like to be the one that has to six hours to the game instead of just an hour and half.

The decision to keep the Georgia-Florida football game in Jacksonville or move it may be made for both schools. At least for a couple of seasons.

The question you should ask is 'what are the rules?'

Sports Broadcasting Act doesn't permit all / substantial portion of a game after 6pm EST.

The game is at 3pm. Streaming is likely a red herring.
