The National Football League limits teams to a maximum of five prime-time games per season while also ensuring that each of its 32 teams receives at least one featured exposure apiece.Isn't there a MAX number teams are allowed in Prime time ? ( 5-6 )
Correct. The official Nielsen numbers are all that matter. The rest, on this or any other event/sport/show is just puffery and hype. Among the greatest offender is Liberty Media's Formula One racing, which claims something called "50M people impacted" in the USA. It gets a rating of about 0.5 or so for most of its odd hours events, and maybe a 1.0 for the few ones on this side of the world. Its all hype.See, this is why people don't understand ratings.
6 million viewers (tv + digital) over three days
and
54.4 million unduplicated viewers over three days.
Unduplicated viewer? When marketing and accounting team up to create evil.
How long do you have to tune in to any channel to have it count ?Yeah, the larger number is basically number of households who tuned in long enough to count, the lesser is the average over the duration. For the first round the average was north of 11 million.

Yes. The league wanted it last season, but they didn't want to go against the World Cup.Is this the first time they've done a Black Friday game?
Not sure why they're doing it, as broadcasting the game in Georgia would be banned due to the Sports Broadcasting Act as high school playoffs are going on here, and they won't be able to broadcast within 75 miles of any of the games.Yes. The league wanted it last season, but they didn't want to go against the World Cup.
Amazon, which has the rights to the game, will provide free access for all fans, streaming exclusively on Prime Video.
This also affects the World's Largest Outdoor Cocktail Party, which switched to a home and home for the two years when they tore down the old Gator Bowl Stadium to the current TIAA Stadium.
So, if your Streaming, the rules don't apply ???????I see, it's an Amazon exclusive game, so technically it's not being broadcasted.
