NHL Network?

Hey everyone. First post in a long time. Great forum. Although I dont post much. I come here almost every day to get any new information on DTV.

Just wondering if there is launch date for the NHL network on DTV. A coworker has told me that comcast will launch this channel on october 1st. I am hugh hockey fan. This channel will be awesome from what I hear.
