No program guide

(Yes it's an outdated reciever I hooked up for fun) I'm getting satellite 110 after I checked the switch earlier but no 119. The only channel that is on is a black screen of HELLK ch130 and ltd11 whatever that means. FYI it's a dish 510. Every time I go into search it prompts me to retrieve info from the satellites but it doesn't do anything. Every time I press GUIDE on the remote it dies nothing. Can you help me*

Just give up and trash that receiver. It's not compatible with the signal coming from the satellite. Also you don't need to make a new thread for every question related to the same thing.

Isn't it great that we all have choices? Just not maybe the one you want because time has moved on.

I still use a 722K but am fully aware my time with it is likely limited.

What's wrong with the software? You can always give dish a call and they'll send a tech out for free.

I enjoy using my vip 211k without service and my hopper 2000 with 2 joeys without service! Going to get an ota adapter for the hopper soon, for now on the hopper all I'm going to have is hsn and that fishing channel preview thing that you can bypass the unsubbed msg by pressing the back button
