Norsat 8000 feedhorn ?

Guys I have a questions. I have used many KU types of LNBs but very new to C- Band LNB's

I have this Norsat 8000 Series digital C-band LNB 3.7 - 4.2 GHZ.


Specs:
3.7 - 4.2 GHz
60 dB gain
30K
L.O. 5.15 GHz
L.O. stability 500 kHz

My question is this LNB changes the polarity automaticlay ?

can I directly attach this LNB to the dish? Or I should use a feedhorne??

use a feedhorn , this is a c-band lnb it usually attaches to a polorotor or a corotor type feedhorn

I don't think a Dreambox has the proper connections.
Do you have an old Analog receiver?

oh no I dont have old Analog receiver. So without it is this item useless?

without something to control the polarity it will only get one at a time H or V
so its usable

you would have to go out to the dish and use some tool like needle nose pliars or screw driver to rotate the probe to change from h to v
