NYC and L.A. Locals with one receiver???

I am getting the Locals From L.A. for $10.99 a month
I call DishTv up and told them when i get back to NYC from my vacation home in L.A. would i be able to put the NYC Locals on the same receiver and they said nope and i would have to get another receiver.
I thought some of you are getting both L.A. and NYC stations on 1 receiver?
I don't want to run around trying to get a waver.
I just want to get all the Locals that i can get on 1 receiver.
Somebody said something about being LOCKED out or something,Meaning if you are not locked out you can get east and west coast on 1 receiver and if you are locked you can only get 1 area only.
How do you get unblocked if that is my problem.....Johnny

With Dish you can't be living in two places at once. So once you move back to NYC you'd have to change your service address to your New York address.

As you've probably noticed, Dish is not the most friendly, customer-oriented buisness around. Because of the way their system is setup (spotbeams) it's quite improbably that they would make an exception for anyone, even though I'm sure they could. Too bad they don't need our money.

It's not DISH. They would love to sell you every local that you want.

Unless your neighbor gets a three room set-up from dish and the you take one of the receivers and put it in your house and use it. Oh wait, that was from your other post, my bad!

the sports channels are only $5.99 a month, but all pro sports are blacked out because you must by the leagues season package. Which for the MLB would be $119 if you want to get it

I think it would be better just to upgrade to apackage and get sportschannels with it so i can have baseball and basketball.johnny
