As for returning to satellite distribution…difficult to do at $28k per month compared to $6k per year for IP.

Kind of makes one wonder how the folks at freedbs.org could make a go of it on satellite when ONN can't. I sure hope they've got a good business plan.

one channel on a transponder is different than putting 15 channels on it. They (freedbs) might get a break on a whole transponder versus part of one

I believe the technical term for what you just described is "economies of scale".
