The amp is built into the dipole. The white device that plugs in is the power inserter!

Yes it runs passive like in the case of a temp power outage, but there's a couple Db cost in that. It should typically always be used powered up for best results.

Without the amp still getting everything but VHF2 under my front porch. Tomorrow up on the mast and the power inserter added. 3.0 channels are locking alot faster already. as I said earlier all the subs on 2 are available via FTA.
