Ordered my 622, DishHD platinum, I'm happy.

Overall, a good experience with getting a 622 and the new programming. Here's a breakdown of what happened:

Called this morning 6:00AM CST to order. Paid the $299 by credit card. Tried to listen to everything about the fees, but couldnt remember much as a result of trying to get in early and staying up until 3 hours earlier. Install date is 2/21.

Called again just recently to confirm everything. I got the DishHD Platinum Package with Locals and the 622 receiver, trading up my 811 and 322. I also qualified for CBS East in HD - not sure what programming they offer (Fox and "24" is what I really want to see) but it was free. 18 month agreement, $240 cancellation fee, no second receiver fee or connection fee. So my monthly total is $91.86. I get my phone and Dish through SBC

What did everyone else get?

Errrr, if I were you, I'd save my elation until I actually saw the 622 in my living room.

If I were a betting man, I'd give odds that the 2/21 date doesn't hold.

Don't get me wrong and I hope you get your 622 but I tried 3 calls to ATT/Dish and they are telling me that we're not eligible for the MPEG4 receivers. I will keep trying but I don't have high hopes.
Also there are only a few 622s available to everyone so it will be more like you'll get your in March, hopefully.
