If I mount an OTA antenna to a metal vent pipe on my roof, do I need a ground? I assume a vent pipe is grounded.

I guess I could verify with a DVM and the ground on an AC outlet.

I hope some installers can comment on this. My understanding is that you need to ground it separately.
