OTA channels freeze drop audio

I get about five local channels that have a signal in the 90's and all will freeze and drop audio over and over
My antenna is DB8 and tried Antennas Direct something...no difference, maybe the cheap Antenna direct is tiny bit better
no problem when I pay for locals

Waht happens when you place that antenna directly on your TV? Here's a hint, place a splitter at the end of the antenna coax that goes into your Dish receiver and then feed both the TV and the receiver at the same time. Just as a backup beyond your Dish supplied local feeds.

Maybe a little better but no way to record that way, I will try the splitter when I can find one

The reason I wanted you to go direct to the TV was to isolate the issue. If you still have the issue direct to the TV it means that you've got something going on with your antenna system, not within the OTA adapter Dish receiver combination.
