Peyton Manning

As for the Tebow to Jacksonville, I find that interesting.

There was thoughts that he would go there out of the draft.

Does Jacksonville have the room and money for Tebow available ?

I wonder if Jacksonville does it because they got new owners.

As far as Manning goes, I wonder if the Jets, Dolphins, Redskins etc. are thinking about the future. You know as enticing as it would be to get Manning, what are you going to get. Are the teams worried about now, or the future? Are they thinking Manning is a long term goal or just a stop gap?

I can't believe ANYONE would look at Manning as a Long Term answer ....
I think he needs to go to a team that needs a top notch QB NOW as the last piece of the puzzle.

As much as I like Alex Smith in San Fran ( Dislike Harbaugh though) had they had Manning last year they probably win it.

I could see the Jets, the Skins don't need Manning as they are much farther away .... I think he wants to go to a team that has a chance to WIN in the playoffs and if they should win it, he may ride off into the sunset on his/ almost his terms.

Baltimore won't, but they would be scary good with Manning in control.
They have a D and a running game and a O line and some decent recvrs.

I will say though that Peyton Manning handled the situation & press conference with class, even if I thought that Irsay was totally full of crap & his crocodile tears were totally bogus.

If I am not mistaken, they do. But it would have to be a trade because Tebow is like 2 years, if not mistaken, from being a FA.

The would ALL have to draft a young QB and groom him.

I truly think that the press conference was the greatest Oscar award winning performance ever. This was the greatest acting since the North Koreans "crying" during Kim Jong Il's funeral."Money had nothing to do with this decision," And WWE Wrestling isn't fake either. Both Manning & Irsay deserve an Oscar,an Emmy,a Tony,& a Golden Globe for their performance.

 :o Have you made up your mind yet?? Was Manning acting, or sincere??

I have more respect for Manning & how he handled that news conference than Irsay. Irsay's "tears" & back slapping had me rolling my eyes. The only time I would believe that Irsay's tears were genuine would be at the writing,&signing,& giving the check for that $28 million dollar bonus. Those tears would have been real. The only thing that "Mr. 1%er " Irsay deserves for his "performance" yesterday is derision,& to be mocked, ridiculed,& laughed to scorn. Manning deserves praise for not saying how he really felt yesterday.

Kornhieser had something interesting to say ....

He said, what happens if Peyton goes to SF and then is traded back to INDY for Luck and Luck then gets to play for his former coach Jim Harbaugh ?

Doesn't make any sense. Colts are rebuilding, Manning will not be back under any circumstances as a player, they probably won't even be a contender while he's still in the league.

You have to wonder, according to PFT, the Browns SUPPOSEDLY say they are NOT interested in Peyton. If you are so hell bent on getting a QB and have a decent QB like McCoy, why not go after Manning, draft Tanneyhill and load up the team with weapons with all those draft picks?

It's nice and all for the Browns to have interest in Manning, but would Manning have interest in the Browns?? Would he want to face the Ravens & Steelers defenses twice a year, not to mention an up and coming Bengals team that has a lot of cap room available??....

OK, so that rules out the AFC EAST and NORTH ...
Where is he going to end up, no body knows, but on thing is for sure, it's always interesting.

Why does it leave out the AFC East? Last I heard, both the Jets and Dolphins were at the top of the list.
