When? Does Anyone Know What City Or Cities Will Have The Hd Locals

Portland is on "the list" for HD locals but they have not been uplinked yet.

With Echo 10 about two months away from operation there's a better chance
of the Portland HD locals happening.

Keep watch for the Uplink Activity threads to see when Portland gets uplinked, it's not been too long after that when they get released to subscribers.

They come out on Wednesday mornings and the title is Uplink Activity for Wed and the week the activity is for. They're usually a sticky thread at the top of the Dish Network forum.

Why don't you put in your own OTA antenna and you can have your locals in HD and more of them than E* will offer?

But I Live In Salem And When The Weathers Bad..........i Only Get My Locals At 66 To 79%

Even those of us that already get OTA locals in HD through a separate antenna are anxious for Dish to offer them as well. It means we can record 2 HD locals at the same time or record 1 and watch 1, which is currently not possible with just an OTA antenna.

Count me as another in PDX who hopes that we're next on the list.
