I live in the Bay Area and have E* through SBC. I just checked channel 419 Fox Sports Bay Area and it's still there. Hoping this will get resolved before we lose any channels.

Don't blame me, I let that one pass. Loose isn't my pet peeve (even though I did notice). I only noted bruce's post because he made an error in a post with a spelling joke. (So bruce started it. )

I guess Rainbow came to a last minute secret agreement?

No word on anything from Echostar, the press office was closed on the 31st.

The good news is the channels are still on the air.

Dish probably has a deal with CVC to keep the channels on the air to be billed at the final contract rate when a contract is reached. This is pretty much a standard proceedure. Only when 6 months of temporary permission to keep the channels go by because the contract talks are at an impass does Charlie get on the air and start putting the pressure on publicly.
