I guess its that, or they create more tiers or add more commercials....Greed has no bounds, just what the market can bear.

I guess not enough people paid the $2.99 fee for ad free. I didn't pay and just download any content I want to see with PlayOn and put it on my GetChannels DVR. When watching from there it auto skips the ads. Worked great for the newest season of Reacher.

Watched the latest season of Clarksons Farm on the prime app on my AppleTV 4K and didn't get a single ad in any episodes. I don't watch much on prime though.
