problem with X1 and VOOM

for some strange reason EVERYTIME I select a nonHD channel I go to a blank screen, and my X1 says searching.
It never changes and I cannot make the voom box do anything else, it wont change channels or go to guide or help menu or anything.
if I shut it off and cut it back on, it stays on that same channel with the same blue screen.
however the sound of the channel comes thru just fine...
I have to unplug the voom box and plug it back in and then it will go back to the opening screen !!
I have tried it on many channels and always the same result.
on HD channels it is fine except for the normal 4 or 5 times an hour blacking out for a few seconds
any Ideas??

Did you try changing the sources in the settings menu? And how is it hooked up, through component thru vesa? Don't have V* and have only used my E* 6000u a couple of times with it but used the rgb direct to it. ( and I did not switch to sd from hd)

Did you do a "factory Re-set? http://www.satelliteguys.us/showthread.php?t=2052

If that doesn't work call VOOM. Maybe you have a defective receiver! Hang in there!

Make sure you have the STB video output set correctly. 1080i, 720p, etc.
