With the Indianapolis 500 coming up Sunday and Dish providing Fox's 4K feed on 540-01, I needed to add our Locals to our Dish account. I logged into the MyDish App and went through the motions of trying to Add Locals to my account, but it wouldn't let me go past the "Here's what you have" screen as the "Next" button was ghosted and non-functional.

Logging in to my account on the My.Dish website seemed to be able to allow me to go into Add Programming, into the Family & Lifestyle sub-category, and select Locals to add it to my account. It asked me to review my changes, which I did, and I was given the "Success!" page which reminded me to give it up to 15 minutes for my equipment to reflect the programming changes. Needless to say, they did not show up, and looking at my account summary, it was unchanged. So, I gave it another chance, over and over again. I waited until Business Hours, and it still let me "Add" our Locals, but not actually add them.

I finally used the on-line Chat, and after the Chat Bot told me how to use the web site to Add Programming (Thanks!🙄) I asked for a Human CSR. I was immediately connected to a Dish employee who understood my request and added our Locals to my account in no time at all. The usual caveat about waiting 15 minutes for changes to appear, and my account now shows the $14/mo Locals package on my account.

So, my question is: Why couldn't I do this online? The CSR seemed puzzled why I wasn't able to do this, especially since the site seemed to accept my request but never made the change.
