Question for any DIRT member about 722K

Why is that you can backup your remote settings to the receiver and yours receiver settings to the remote using the "system wizard" there is no restore options?

bad menuing? bad receiver code not working like it should (big surprise there)

I remember I've done it (replaced 722k) but don't remember, and its not in the 722k manual, I would try it right now, except I'm in the middle of my wednesday night recordings.

Don't feel bad, I can't even get mine to work. I always get the error not to move the remote. I don't, it's laying on the carpet in front of the box. No go.

From what I understand, the restore option is only available with a replacement receiver. As to why this is, I do not know
