Raychem EZF, EZ6 Does anyone remember those connectors?
I was just wondering if anyone remebered the Raychem EZF??
If you worked in the cable industry in the 90's, you probably remember that those were going to be the unique ones to put everyone out of business. They came in plastic catridges, Blue-RG , Red=59. You never had to push the connector on with your fingers, you just would the connector on while it was in the clip and pull it out. You didn't even have to use a compression toool; you could just screw it on a port and it would compress itslef. They were compression, but one piece, unlike any others at that time.
I was just wondering because when I worked for a large system, in the mid-90's, they said that they were the best made, but they switched to PPC because of the price difference.
Did they go out of business?
If so, when and why?
Thanks
