I had dish about 5 years ago I would like to get it back I am going to pay to have my service turn back on but I no longer have the dish or the receiver can I get a new system from dish or can I just sing up as a new customer with out paying the late fee and the reactivation?

Hi, welcome to the site, 5 years is long enough to sign up as a new customer again or get the same promos they get

they still have my address on file so it must not have been that lone ago

If you are an existing subscriber you cannot sign up under the new customer promo's. You have to sign up under the previous customer promotions. Those require a credit card and you lease the system.
