I, too, wish there was a "Channels I Get" list that actually excluded channels I didn't get. I know I can make a custom list, but that is both a huge pain, and it doesn't let you see new channels when they're added.
The real reason they have it the way it is, I suspect, is that it forces you to look all the stuff you need to pay more to see, so it's advertising for their more expensive packages.
