I figured the same thing. We will have to wait until the product is out and people try to push the limits of what can be done. Just remember, as soon as something is figured out you will see it posted on here.
I imagine lots of things are possible but won't have Dish's blessings because they don't want the headache of supporting it. Plus the engineers are never going to approve anything that stresses the system, i.e., consumes more bandwidth than they have budgeted for plus gobs of headroom.
It's more like putting the Joey software on an app and downloading it to a device. The Joey was nothing more than a client so it still works the same way other than it's not wired.
