Rinkside view of Kings Ducks on FSN West HD 9546

Rinkside view = lower camera angels, mics in the crowd and at ice level, and wait... no annoOUNCERS!!! The cameras showing what the goalies see makes it so much easier to follow the puck and understand the action. Save the $100 grand on each mouth's salary and get what five new HD cameras?

My grandfather used to reminisce about a NFLgame back in the sixties where they showed just the game and nothing else, so I can't say that I think it'll catch on, but one can wish, right?

Wish that DISH had shown the real game instead via FSW. Last night the Kings/Ducks game was broadcast with play-by-play and normal camera angles on FSN Prime Ticket (in HD too) and the rinkside view on FSW. Well, my guess is someone at dish looked at the program description and saw they were the same and choose FSW. Thank DISH, because the FSNPT-HD originally listed the game in the guide this last weekend. So I programmed it to record, then they removed it. Why oh why can't the 622 be like a tivo and go find the program to record on some other channel!

it was in teh 80's when NBC tried the announcerless game, it just didn't work well with replays and the down time in football

I thought it was the coolest thing in a long time, I frickin hate announcers and it made me feel like I was at the game. I liked it alot. I wish they would show the camera behind the net more often, so much easier to see the puck go into the net.

One thing that is the dumbest thing ever is why does the rink announcer say "after 3 periods your score is 3-3"

LIKE WE DON'T F***ING KNOW THIS ALREADY? We live in such a dumb society this is why we need A.D.D. reminders. That and us being overmedicated that's another story.

I watched a Kings game yesterday or the day before, and there basically were no announcers. SUCKED.. But the cameras were up higher as well so there was almost no sounds during the game..

I like my colorado announcers. At least when I'm net-surfing I can follow the game pretty well without watching closely.
